Ask Joshua - Shoe storage solution for a tiny foyer

Hi Joshua,

What are some options for shoe storage if your coat closet is tiny and have a small, narrow entryway? Our front door opens up to a half wall on the left and coat closet near the end of the entryway on the right.

Hi Mei,

I am not sure if your foyer has some wall space between the front and closet door but I’d suggest considering a shoe storage cabinet that allows you to hide shoes and keep them tidy and organized. That’s what I do with my current foyer and it is really helpful to keep our shoes out of the way as we also don’t have a good closet solution near the front door. I have created a shopping list with various cabinets of differing size, color, and style. I hope you will find one of these shoes cabinets the best solution for your situation.
